I. Manpower :             

The department is staffed with four medical doctors, one graduate, three nurses and three statisticians.

Dr. Vu Van Hau is now the Director and Dr. Vu Quy Hop the deputy director of the department.

II. Development process:  

From 1969 to 1993, the department bore the name "The Medical Office" and since 1993 "The General Planning Department".

 III. Assignments:  

The department works as an advisory entity to the Hospital Direction Board in planning and implementing medical services in the hospital.

The department in accountable for supervising  and giving instructions to different departments in the hospital to enable them to fulfill their medical duties.

     IV. Achievements:

The department is frequently a trustworthy body to the Hospital Direction Board and fulfills its tasks in an outstanding way.

- All the staff of the department are "emulation fighters" the appelation for good employees.

- The department operation has been computerized in a good way
