HISTORY
OF DEVELOPMENT:
Established: 1981;
Main
achievements

Nutrition Department, founded together with establishment of
National Hospital of Pediatrics, is a department of
Paraclinical Unit, responsible for serving the patient's
pathologic diet, the staff's lunch and food hygiene and
safety at the Hospital;
III.
ASSIGNMENT AND ACTIVITY :
Main Functions:
- To
ensure a good diet for in-patients;
- Advise to mothers
on how to feed patients;
- Supersive the
hygien and safety of food at the
hospital;
- Run
a canteen for staff at the hospital;
- Hold
training courses to improve knowledge on nutrition;
For hospital staff:
- Follow
up
daily diet statistics of in-patients. Process and divide
into ration for each patient;
- Serve
patient's pathologic diet;
- Be
responsible for the hygiene and safety of food at the
hospital;
- Open
training courses to improve knowledge of nutrition;
- Serve
the hospital staff with hygienic food at
reasonable price;
Scientific
research and education
- Perceive
more thoroughly patient's pathologic diet;
- Build
up a net of food hygiene;
- Participate
in the work of advisory nutrition;
- Conduct
patient's diet in the community;
