   I. Staffing :              

Total: 20 Members;

Including: 8 doctors, 7 technicians, 2 secondary nurses and 3 cleaners;

Current head of the department: Dr. Lê Văn Phát

   II. History of the development :

Establish in 1973  

Heads by periods:

- From 1973 to 1987 : Dr. Trần Văn Tiến

- From 1988  to now: Dr. Lê Văn Phát.

Main achievements:

Awarded the title of “Good labor team” for many years

   III. Main activities :    

Activities for treatment services

   -  Assist to diagnosis for children <16 years by X-ray;

   -  Supply X ray, CT, ultrasound base on the demand of diagnosis and scientific researches. 

Main services:

    - Routine X ray of every part of the body required;

    - Emergency supply of X ray for inpatients and outpatients;

   -  CT for difficult diagnosis cases such as: brain, internal organs, heart, lungs, bones, joints;

    - Disease diagnosis by ultrasound and Vascular and Heart disease diagnosis by color ultrasound;

Research and training:

+ Researches:

     - CT for diagnosis brain tumor in children;

     - Apply new method of duplex light contract to diagnosis polyp and other disease in colon;

+ Training:

      - Regular improve knowledge for staff in the department;

      - Train doctors from other provinces practicing at the department

    IV. National and international cooperation:

- 1 doctor was trained in Germany;

- 2 doctors were trained in French for 3 years
